JUICY, JUICY RED WINE

Plump, ripe, with intense fruit and spice, Majestad is a deep, soul-searching red wine. She might have you feeling contemplative, embodied, or perhaps just ready for a nap? However you decide to spend your time with Majestad, know that you are experiencing a truly Spanish wine. Made from Garnacha, a grape that both thrives and refreshes in the hot heat of the summer, this grape is light, fruity, and peppery. Look for aromas of smashed raspberries and bramble, earth, soft tannins, and nervy acidity.

HOW SPANISH WINEMAKERS MADE HISTORY

It was the Phoenicians who brought winemaking to Spain in 1000 B.C. By the 1st century B.C., Roman philosophers were waxing poetic about its power. But Spain truly stepped onto the world’s stage in the 19th century when the grapevines of France suffered a crippling vine disease. To preserve their legacy, they brought French varietals like Garnacha to Spain. Would the land support them? Time would tell. Not only does the unique land here support these grapes, but it also yields a wine that tastes uniquely different from its French counterpart. This is the magic of Spanish wine.

A TRUE FOOD WINE

What does it mean to be a food wine? Majestad’s got it all: pure, honest expression of fruit, nervy acidity, and a quiet savory finish. These are the qualities that will make it pair perfectly with poultry, heavy fish, or barbecue. Try pulled pork sliders, barbecue wings, grilled salmon, or roasted quail.
