It might sound a little crazy, but if you love red wine, this is the white wine for you. We know you love red wine for its round, voluptuous, fruity character, and that’s why we made Meridia. Made from a blend of white grapes in Spain, we chose to make the fruitiest balance we could and smooth it out with the other thing you love about red wine: oak. Look for intense peach, citrus, and melon fruit with a round, creamy finish.

It was the Phoenicians who brought winemaking to Spain in 1000 B.C. By the 1st century B.C., Roman philosophers were waxing poetic about its power. But Spain truly stepped onto the world’s stage in the 19th century when the grapevines of France suffered a crippling vine disease. To preserve their legacy, they brought French varietals and winemaking practices to Spain. Would the land support them? Time would tell. Not only does the unique land here support these grapes, but it also yields a wine that tastes uniquely different from its French counterpart. This is the magic of Spanish wine.
